Privacy Policy

Placeholder policy — to be reviewed before launch.

Hockey Challenge Picks does not require an account and does not ask you for personal information.

Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider and CDN (Cloudflare) record standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.

Analytics and advertising

We may use analytics tools and third-party advertising partners. These services may set cookies or similar technologies to measure traffic and show ads. You can control cookies in your browser settings.

Comments

If you post a comment we store the name you type, the comment text, the time, and a one-way hash of your IP address (a salted SHA-256; we do not store the IP address itself) that is used only for rate limiting, abuse prevention and bans. Comments are public. Do not include personal information. If you use the report button, the hash is stored to prevent duplicate reports. We may remove comments at any time; see the community rules. If the spam check from Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled, Cloudflare receives your IP address and browser details to verify you are human.

Local storage

The site may store small preferences (such as a table sort order) in your browser. This stays on your device.
